Developed by Guild Outfitters and our suppliers to fit the 3rd Gen Tacoma*, 2nd Gen Tacoma*, 5th Gen 4Runner**, 3rd Gen Tundra*, and FJ Cruiser this awesome kit includes a harness and OEM 3 prong Outlet that allows you to access your factory inverter at 400W while driving your Toyota instead of it kicking down to 100W. The mod’s wiring is completely plug-and-play and can be installed in as little as 20 minutes and includes a bottle opener to pop a cold one when finished. To install the outlet the kit does require cutting interior trim with our included metal template and custom cutting tool that works with any household drill. If you follow our install video or one of our YouTube Channel partners you can join the thousands who have already done this DIY kit. Our kit is ideal for people that power fridges & accessories in the bed of their truck or want to charge fragile / expensive items in cab like cameras, laptops, drones, or portable batteries. Guild’s custom harness has a 40” leg for your new outlet to be installed at a location of your choice in the cab.
Your Toyota Vehicle must have the 100W/ 400W OEM inverter for the upgrade kit to function. The easiest way to confirm this is by confirming your trim has a Bed or Rear Outlet. This kit does NOT work with Hybrid Toyota Vehicles or generations not marked in the below table.
*For applicable Toyota Tacoma & Tundra truck’s the base kit’s 40“ extension will reach the back of the center console, front passenger side of center console, or even the lower center dash.
**For applicable Toyota 4Runner & FJ Cruiser SUV’s with the inverter in the rear passenger wheel well, the kit’s Tacoma harness will let you add another outlet within 40” of the rear oem outlet. If you want to install the new Outlet upfront you will need to purchase the kit with the additional 17’ (foot) extension. We plan to release a partner install video soon. For now, start upfront where you want the new outlet, then feed the additional 17’ extension under the center console, under the passenger dash, pop off the passenger side door sills and feed the cable along the floor / door sill with the other oem wiring, then feed the harness up along the 2nd row passenger seat into the rear passenger foot well. Secure the wire with zip ties or tape and coil any excess wire in the rear footwell near the oem inverter (behind the oem rear outlet).
Reminder, to install the interior outlet all current options require cutting interior trim using our included metal template and cutting tool. Then the outlet will snap into your cut interior panel. Check out our install videos for more information. This step is included in the 20 minute install estimate. **

"I AM VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS INTERIOR OUTLET MOD! I watched install videos 10 times before installation, then step by step for the interior outlet. Both outlets seemed to worked fine with a three prong plug for testing. I havent needed to use the new Interior Outlet until recently, 20 months later. 1. Two bladed plugs wont stay plugged in to this outlet! The outlet holes are too loose and plugs just slide out, wont stay plugged in with any battery charger plug or phone charger ive tried! 2. Today I noticed the little green light isnt on anymore! The bed outlet works fine so I plug the fridge into the bed outlet and it keeps the battery charged to 100% while driving so it still working fine. I dont want the mini fridge in the bed of my truck! I want it in my backseat for easy access which is why i installed the Interior Outlet and it failed me miserably!!! Reaching out to Guild Outfitters for help. I’ll update review if they send me a new outlet or help me."

"This is an UPDATED REVIEW from my previous experience with the Tacoma 400w Anytime Interior Outlet. Guild Outfitters Immediately Responded to my request for help and sent me free of charge an Updated Version 3. 0 Interior Outlet for me to swap out. And IT WORKS PERFECTLY NOW! Very Happy with this purchase and their excellent customer service!!! According to Guild Outfitters, the original Interior Outlet I installed had a hidden manufacturing defect that caused the outlet body to separate and stop working. And the outlet plug holes weren’t up to proper tolerance so plugs would be loose and slip out. This was not Guild Outfitters fault and they took the lead in making things right with customers who had this defective outlet mod. Their quick response to complaint and an upgraded outlet makes me a loyal customer because I see they really care and only want the best for people who do business with them! Thank you Guild Outfitters for standing by your customers!!!"
"Another happy customer. Install is as easy as the videos make it look. One note is that the inverter puts out “dirty” electricity so if youre planning on plugging in larger portable power stations like EcoFlow it wont work. It will power all sorts of other awesome use cases though."

THE solution to the biggest design flaw ever
"Everything about this kit is just awesome. It took me months to figure out it wasn't me doing anything wrong, it was the car itself. And Guildoutfitters came along and solved this huge flaw with a kit so simple to install even my mum can do it. Guildoutfitters went above and beyond by 1) providing and additional plug so I can load my smaller batteries in the cockpit and 2) by providing a great drillbit to install the extra plug. Unbelievable what a gamechanger this is! Well done guildoutfitters!"

"does the job great! keep in mind that tacoma inverters are modified sin wave and battery backups (like my Anker Solix c1000) need pure sin wave. So even after installing the harness, the tacoma inverter would not charge my battery bank."
